Abbas al-Dirani, 37, from Qasr Nabba, is married and the father of three children. Along with fellow Lebanese prisoner Ahmad Al-Aitawi, he was captured by the invading "Israeli" army from the town of al-Khiam during the ground battles in March 2026.
On March 23, the Israeli army announced the capture of two individuals during the ground battles in southern Lebanon.
